A complete gypsum processing production has four stages: screening and crushing, mill grinding process, beneficiation process, and ore drying process.
Crushing: The jaw crusher is used to crush the gypsum ores to the proper size. Some gypsum mines will be added to the impact crusher for further crushing.
Grinding: Send the crushed gypsum ores evenly to the ball mill for further grinding until -0.074 mm particle size accounting for 70%. Then, grade them by a spiral classifier and send the non-standard ores back to the ball mill for further grinding.
Flotation: Put the qualified gypsum powder (paste) into the agitator. Adopt quicklime as pH modifiers, sodium silicate and sodium humate as gangue inhibitors, Y – 89 as the collector and No. 2 oil as the foaming agent. Excellent gypsum separation effect can be obtained by flotation in the weakly alkaline medium.
Dehydration: Suspend the gypsum slurry in the thickener for fully precipitation and then high-grade gypsum powder can be obtained after dehydrating and drying though the dryer.
