Granite Crushing Machine Price
Rock and crushed stone products generally are loosened by drilling and blasting and then are loaded by power shovel or front-end loader into large haul trucks that transport the material to the processing operations. Techniques used for extraction vary with the nature and location of the deposit. Processing operations may include crushing, screening, size classification, material handling and storage operations.
Crushing or comminution is an essential stage of mineral processing. It requires a great deal of expenditure in terms of energy consumption and maintenance. In comminution, the particle size of the ore is gradually reduced. The characteristics of the ore, in combination with the equipment used for the crushing and grinding, determine the physical properties of the tailings, such as the particle shape and particle size distribution.
Granite Crushing Plant
Crushing is the first stage in the size reduction process. Granite crushing is usually operated in a dry operation, which involves breaking down the ore by compressing it against rigid surfaces or by impacting it against hard surfaces in a controlled motion flow.
This process step prepares the ore for further size reduction (grinding) or for feeding directly to the classification or concentration separation stages. Tailings are usually not generated in this process step. Typical types of crushing plant applied in granite crushing process include:
- jaw crushers
- gyratory crushers
- cone crushers
- roll crushers
- impact crushers
